Lead Times

For Parts & Accessories, your order will be shipped from our location 1-2 business days after the time of order. You should expect to receive your order approximately 1 week after the time of order.

For Swing Sets and Playground Equipment, your order will be shipped from our location 2-5 business days after the time of order. You should expect to receive your order approximately 3 weeks after the time of order. PLEASE NOTE: Powder-coating, if chosen, will add 2 additional weeks to these lead times. 

IMPORTANT: Special Instructions for Swing Sets and Playground Equipment

You will need to be aware of some specific shipping requirements that may be different from shipments you have received in the past through other delivery companies, and you need to follow the guidelines below carefully. 

  • These products will arrive via a large freight truck. If a freight truck cannot get to your home, then we will not be able to deliver these large swing sets to you. Examples of this are if your home is not accessible by paved road, if the road leading to your home is extremely narrow, windy, etc. If you have any questions at all regarding this, please call us at 385-508-4277.
  • In most cases your product will arrive via common carrier truck line directly to your home with curbside delivery onlyThis does not mean it can be delivered to your driveway, garage, or backyard. You are then responsible to have someone physically capable to help the driver unload the product from the truck upon delivery and note the condition of the product as per below instructions.
  • Your product will arrive on a long pallet. Upon delivery, locate the packing list on the outside of the packaging and verify that each piece listed is with the shipment. 
  • If there are any parts/pieces missing, note this directly on the delivery receipt BEFORE you sign and receive your copy of the receipt, with wording such as “missing xyz part“. 
  • Also note the condition of the pieces and if any parts have been damaged in shipping. Note this directly on the delivery receipt BEFORE you sign and get your copy from the driver (especially inspect slides for damage). 
  • If you sign the delivery receipt without noting the damages and/or missing pieces, you are stating that you have receipt the shipment in good and complete condition.
  • If your shipment appears to have damage and/or missing pieces, a freight claim must be filed with the freight company within 2 business days. Contact the shipping manager at 385-298-3764 immediately to begin this process.
  • Ask your driver to sign or initial the delivery receipt acknowledging any damage or discrepancies. 
  • Get a copy of the signed delivery receipt from your delivery driver before they leave.
  • If you are concerned or don’t know what you should do with a certain situation regarding the shipment, please call the shipping manager at 385-298-3764 before the driver leaves.

You are responsible to notify Rocky Mountain Playgrounds of any shortages or damage relating to your shipment within 2 business days of the receipt of your equipment. After this time, any claim for shortages or loss cannot be honored. 

Rocky Mountain Playgrounds cannot be responsible for replacement of any parts, missing or damaged, that have not been properly noted on the delivery receipt.

Returns/ Refunds

Parts & Accessories

Start the return process within 14 days of receiving your item by contacting us at info@rockymountainplaygrounds.com. Product must be in new condition.

Shipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer in cases of buyer’s remorse returns, such as didn’t like the color/quality, changed your mind, ordered by mistake, bought it somewhere else, etc.

We will refund the full cost of the merchandise and shipping charges if the return is a result of our error or defective product.

Swing Sets

From the time of order, you have 1 business day to make any changes to your order or cancel your order for a 100% refund.

After 1 business day, your order will not be able to be changed or cancelled. AT THIS POINT, YOUR ORDER WILL BE NON-RETURNABLE AND NON-EXCHANGEABLE. 

The reason why we have such a strict return policy is that these swing sets are highly specialized/custom items, which are required to be sent on a freight truck on a custom-made pallet in order to get to you. These large swing sets are not your typical shipment; they can’t just show up on your doorstep in a small package. We incur extremely high shipping costs in order to get these to you, which denies us the luxury of easily and cost-effectively sending items back and forth to our customers. So PLEASE, do your research before placing an order to make sure your swing set will fit in the space you have and that it’s exactly what you want.

Refunds

For refunds, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
